International humanitarian relief and conflict expert with over 20 years experience and a Visiting Lecturer of Disaster Management at Birmingham University (UK). He has extensive experience in responding to complex emergencies and natural disasters, needs & resources assessment, security, situation analyses, camp management, humanitarian procurement, monitoring and evaluation of relief and development programmes. Good training and facilitation skills especially in his aforementioned areas of expertise. He is a reference point and master trainer for SPHERE (humanitarian charter and minimum standards in disaster response) and INEE (Education in Emergencies) in Arabic and English. Moustafa is an independent consultant to UN and other major humanitarian agencies (with focus on the Middle East). Moustafa has over 20 years experience in humanitarian and post conflict rehabilitation. He is a Deployable Civilian Expert (DCE), a member of the DRC Stand-By Member roster, a member of RedR, Associate Trainer with INTRAC and a European Commission Expert (EX2014D170674)

Hassan has experience of over 16 years in humanitarian work with INGOs and UN, including senior management level through working in emergency contexts including Lebanon and Syria, and in roles including Regional Operations Director, Country Programme Manager and Fundraising manager He has an excellent understanding of programmes in both conflicts and natural disasters including Child Protection, Education, shelter/NFIs, Safety and Security, Proposal writing and Donor Relations and relief distributions. Hassan is heading the operations at OC in addition to humanitarian translations department and deliver trainings in his area of expertise. Hassan is multi lingual, and can fluently speak English, Arabic, Spanish, French and Italian. He graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a BS in international business management and specialized in conference management.
Zara is an Executive Assistant at Osman Consulting. In her role, she is responsible for providing technical, analytical and administrative support for research, proposal writing and administrative tasks. She, along with Moustafa Osman is currently heading projects with Save the Children in the North-East Syria, Third Party Monitoring Programs with GIZ and a consortium of partners amongst other major projects. Zara initiated the OC Roster database and is continually building a network of experts for immediate deployment. Zara holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Warwick. Prior to joining Osman Consulting, she secured an internship with Islamic Relief with the Learning and Development team where she conducted on-going research to identify training courses and content to assist in continued re-designing and improvement of programmes provided by L&D to IR field offices worldwide. She is also a cooking and a travel enthusiast and seeks new experiences by travelling and trying cuisines of different cultures.
El-Zafarani has come to Osman Consulting with key Business Development experience from years working in Dubai and the MENA Region. El-Zafarani is heading up Business Development activities with key partners and clients particularly in areas of Third Party Monitoring, Stabilisation and BBR as well as administrating the OC Training & Capacity Building trainings. El-Zafarani has a BSc International Relations, bilingual in English and Arabic languages and adores the outdoors in his spare time.
